Linear Low-Density Polyethylene
Linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) emerges as the latest addition to the polyethylene family. It is a copolymer created through the polymerization of ethylene with various alpha olefins, with 1-butene and 1-hexene being the most common. The resulting linear structure enhances the mechanical performance of films compared to those fashioned from traditional LDPE materials.
